Thanks for the reply.  I'll engage the MSU Com office and the Collegian paper.  I find that academia in general and the entire educational system  is way more left of center on just about every subject and especially environmental subjects, i.e. they are not balanced in any sense of the word.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the global warming article which appeared in the Summer 2007 issue of the Collegian.  It is certainly your right to challenge comments made in this or any other article.  However, a university is a forum for the free exchange of ideas and there are no restrictions on the topics which may be presented other than those imposed by law (e.g., libelous, obscene or inflammatory statements).  Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression.  A topic such as global warming is certain to generate a wide range of ideas as well as some controversy.
